This journey begins with the decline of a once bright and rich planet deep within the
Seventh Star System . It goes by the name
Lamiir’ka . The planet was ruled by a man named Orein. For twenty years, he's watched his kingdom fall apart around him. A plague,
The Blue Swarm , had overcome his people, killing many. Those few who did survive were considered
The Touched , for they’d lost their minds and did very odd and unspeakable acts. Soon the season changed drastically. What was once Spring year round now became unpredictable. One day there would be snow and the next day would result in an unexplainable heat wave. Crops wilted, businesses went bankrupt and crime sprees went up. It soon became apparent that Orein was losing control of his home.
The only thing keeping him together was his wife, Joanna. She believed and supported him until the very end. She recently passed during the birth of their only child. With the loss of his wife, and years bearing heavily on his shoulders, Orein has decided to step down from his throne announcing Findel to be his successor until his son was of age.
By the next morning, Orein was found murdered in his bed with a sword on the ground; Findel’s sword. Immediately Findel was arrested for treason making Luin, Orein's chancellor, Regent until the young prince is of age… or dead.
Bwahaha! Now, on to the important stuff.
The character class/rank/job/whatever can be from the following: Soldiers, Prisoners, Medical or Engineers. There is magic, yet it is rare to have true magic.
Soldiers - They have artificial magic (Like Celes in FF6) which they use through gems attached to their bodies. These gems, Dragon eyes, can increase one's power at least twice the amount. They all vary for each user; the elements I mean. While one user may only focus in fire another may have both lightening and ice. It depends on the character. However a crystal does not last for long, after a certain amount of time it will die off and turn to dust. Again, it depends on the person's will.
There is of course the illegal way to possess magic. Injections. It’s considered deadly due to addictions and shortening your lively hood. Usually criminals take this route and once in jail they’re usually contained through specialized bracelets. The side effects include aggression, nausea, paranoia, shortened life span and addiction. (Note: What are in these injections? Simple. Powered gems mixed with cord blood, blood from an umbilical cord)There are two types of injections. One is called the "Duster" which is a smaller and less deadly dosage. The effects of magic can last up to two days (depending on how much energy you use up) and the effects can vary. The second is called "The X-injection" and is considered extremely deadly and addicting. The effects can last up to a week and usually make you weaker afterwards. These shots can be taken either in the arm or the back of the neck, most prefer the neck.
Note: I'm willing to accept any kind of criminal so long as it is TASTEFUL. Yes, you can be a serial killer or a rapist but make sure that it is done in a tasteful manner. You may also have a different species and if by chance you do decide to take this route, please oh please give us a summary. =3
The goal of the game is to go on a suicide mission. We are to retrieve a myth,
the gem in the eye of Kings , at the end of the universe. Some of us will be heroes... while others will do everything within their power to stop us. Who will you be?

Terms/People of interest: Seventh Star System – The seventh galaxy. It is said that from afar it appears to be a giant star.
Lamiir’ka – The planet where our journey begins.
The Floating Isle – A prison containing some of the most deadly killers in the universe. It’s not really an Isle, it’s more like a dead planet floating aimlessly around Lamiir’ka. There are only two ways off. One is through the Container, a ship that appears twice a month to deliver supplies/inmates. The second is death.
Orein – He ruled Lamiir’ka to the best of his abilities only to be murdered in cold blood.
The Blue Swarm – A deadly plague that swept over the planet. It’s origins are unknown and to this day there is still no cure. The common symptoms are pale waxy skin, blue rashes and black eyes. It can spread through touch or blood.
The Touched – Rare people who survive through means unknown, may it be their blood? Who knows? In the end they are nothing but shells of their former selves, driven into insanity.
Findel – Orein’s former successor and supposed murderer. As of now he is kept under lock and chain in the deepest cell within the Isle.
Luin – A mysterious sorcerer who knows more then he’s letting on. As of now he is currently in control of Lamiir’ka and seeking control of the King’s gem.
Scarlet – The name of our current ship. It can hold almost 300 passengers with room to move around.
The Pitt – It’s almost like a dungeon within Scarlet. Only the worst of people are sent there for a little me time.
Jer'rrid – A group of outlaws, species vary, known for terrorizing merchant ships and selling their profits to the black market in Otubil.
Banshee - This is the Jer'rrid's ship. Far bigger then the Scarlet,
Otubil – A busy planet that sees and hears the rarest of treasures from all over.
Lieutenant Rupert Fwakes – A trustworthy advisor.
Nigural – A small planet and Leo’s home, not much goes on here. It’s a quiet place which lives off farming Bulps, a type of lettuce that is rather healthy.
Jappie or the Onyx is a warden of sorts. He has seen three wars in two separate galaxies and seems a bit on the shady side. He likes stepping on toes.
