If the first thought that came to your head in reading that title was
Ghalerion, then you're in the right place. And if it didn't, well, then you're dumb and should probably get your head examined.
But yes, plans are in the works to revive Ghalerion in full force and here are the details:
- We're going to be continuing the
main storyline, but with some adjustments considering a few of the most prominent cast members have, yet again, vanished completely on us. There are two options for this - either replacement cast or changes in story. I don't have a preference either way, but a choice needs to be made soon. People who would like to join the main story line (The one where there's a war broken out between Ghale and Calismus and the captured rebel group is about to attack Calismus from the inside and crazy shit happens), please mention so in this thread or in chat and I can give you the details.
- There is going to be a separate
sidestory arc moving that centers around a troop of Calismian soldiers led by three knights who are tasked with surveying and claiming uncharted territories in the name of Calismus. This is mostly to open up the possibility of introducing more cities, more characters, more faiths, more action, etc. Think of this as an in-character revamp of Ghalerion's current, already-elaborate world.
- If there's any interest at all in doing
Sparsian Academy again (We've tried three times now and it dies quick every single time..), we can look into that. PM me on here or in chat for more details. I don't think I'm going to have time to drive it really, so someone else would have to take initiative there.
- If there's any interest in doing a
Tensoku arc (It's currently the only established Ghalerion territory to not have been featured in a story arc, past or present), also let me know. It's noteworthy that Tensoku is also the only Ghalerion territory currently inhabited by the Kelian race (Which can use magic, among other things. =O), so if you don't want to play a mortal, this might be of interest.
- If you're interested in starting
your own separate arc in a Ghalerion territory aside from any of the above, which we've always encouraged (And no one has really done it..), let me know and we can talk out details, plausibility, etc.
- As always, Ghalerion will be aiming to
set the standard when it comes to top-quality roleplay. This means excellent posts, excellent stories, and excellent characters - so it is slightly more selective in character approval compared to most. Don't let this scare you away if you'd like to jump on board, however.
