The Cabin [OOC]

One night you are out walking when you are attacked.
Before you can do anything to defend yourself you are rendered unconscious.
When you wake up you are in a log cabin, in the middle of nowhere.
It is the middle of the night (possibly the same night, most likely a different night).
You are not alone.
There are eight of you in the same position.
You are each handcuffed to another person and there is no lock to pick.
On the table, a short distance away, is a note.
It reads:

By The End, One Will Live; The Rest Will Die

So, this is going to be a mystery RP. I was thinking of having all sorts of things happen, horrors, gore, surprises and twists and turns. I haven't decided exactly what I'm doing or where I'm going with this. But I am looking for input and ideas. As for characters, I'm thinking that anyone could be here from an ex-con, to an escaped prison; a high powered lawyer, to an old man. Each person has to be over the age of 18 though. And as to who they are handcuffed to, I will work that out once I have all eight players. I want them to be partnered with someone who they won't get along with as I'm thinking that each set of 2 players will have to make decision if they want to be the one to live.

Saying that, I won't just be killing characters off. I might if people want to drop out. But I'm hoping they won't. I'm also NOT having this like saw, so you don't have to worry about that. The question is will they try to work together to get everyone out alive, or will it be survival of the fittest?

On a side note, I am currently going to be moving in three weeks. I'm incredibly bored so setting this up now. I was going to wait, but I'm hoping with interest I'll get this going and I'll also find time to keep it going once I've moved. I don't think internet access will be a problem, but if it is I'll try and warn everyone first.
