This is where your character application/pictures go. Make them nice, neat, original, and awesome. HERE'S A NIFTY FORMAT FOR YOU TO GO BY. It should also be noted there is no magic in this world (durp.) I will allow some superhuman powers such as heightened physical strength, speed, or long vision, but keep it within the realms of sanity here people.

Specialty(1):
Proficiencies(3):
Apprenticeships(5):
Your character may have one specific specialty in a skill, three average proficiencies, and five below average apprenticeships. These can range from sniping, close hand combat, fencing, ship building, engineering, alchemy, medicine, first aid, and others. If you have any questions about a certain specialty you want just post it here. Here's a breakdown of what specific specialty, average proficiency, and below average apprenticeships means for you!
Your specific specialty is either a god given natural talent or something achieved through years of hard work. Whatever it is, you live and breathe it, and cannot function properly unless you're constantly delving into the art and craft of your specialty. This can be sniping, blacksmithing, engineering, or anything else. Your specific specialty always has room for improvement, though, and currently starts out at level one with a maximum of five. After every five posts you make, I will determine if your specialty moves up a level based on how effectively you use your skill, not HOW MUCH you use it. If you're creative, original, and have fun with it, you will be rewarded. Here's an example of how it works in practice.
Level One Specialty: Sniping. You are a great shot when on solid ground and aiming at a still target, but the swaying of a boat or a running target gives you more trouble.
Level Two Specialty: Sniping. Your eyes have become sharper at detecting movement even at night as well as seeing even further. Your hands are steadier on the trigger.
Level Three Specialty: Hitting mobile opponents is much easier for you now. Your aim is still pretty sharp even when dealing with environmental hindrances.
Level Four Specialty: Your range has increased even further as well as your grip on the rifle. Your sway is barely noticeable.
Level Five Specialty: The harder the shot, the harder it is for you to miss. You are able to hit vital organs with pin-point accuracy from far away even with environmental hindrances.
This level based system is pretty self explanatory once you think about it. You do not start out being epic even if you have a natural talent at something. There is always room for improvement, and this is sort of an incentive to get you to think out your posts and be creative with your endeavors. Remember, THERE ARE NOT ONLY combat specialties. You can have a specialty with dancing, music, and basically anything you want.
The proficiencies and apprenticeships work the same way, but on a less amazing scale. Five levels. You start out at one. Simple enough, in my opinion. If you need me to explain more I'll be happy to help. My character profile is to follow shortly, so feel free to use it as a reference. =)

This looks like an epic RP with which I can shake my literary gong at! You are such a sexy beast, Jader. Also, I just totally forgot about our character creator database thingy, so instead use this thread for questions and comments! Like how insanely awesome I am!

I PROMISE I am going to post. I went to bed super early last night because I felt like crap. As soon as I write up my lab and make my website for my class, I'll write up a post. I'm having problems figuring out how to start, which isn't helping my writers block at the moment. FUCKING WEBSITE TOOK ME UNTIL ALMOST 5AM. I am going to go to bed, and when I wake up, I will write my post. I'm done with school work until Monday.

Hey people! I just sent in my second registration (because idiot me forgot the list stuff to send to Jader) and I'm looking for a place in the main plot for Jay Mareson. I was thinking he could maybe have an interest in Amily Jayse? Tell me your thoughts on this and I'll get my first post up as soon as I'm accepted into the roleplay. Well, that and as soon as I know about it. so get back to me alright Faithykinz?

Congratulations Jamee! Your character, Ashling Lowe, has attained Level 2 in: Survival Techniques
You are more adept at surviving in extreme conditions and for longer periods of time. Your survival techniques do not pertain to just surviving out in the wild on your own, but also incorporates street smarts and reflexes when it comes to responding to an attack.
Congratulations Jader! Your character, Vice Admiral Benson Rage IV, has attained Level 2 in: Captain
Your skills in directing your crew, administering tasks, and the general upkeep of your ship is becoming more of a second instinct than a job. People look up to you, admire you, and rely on your guidance to survive the rigors of the ocean.

Terror, Ghalerion is an alternate universe, and therefore no characters in this RP can journey from that realm. Please fix this. It should also be noted that while I do allow a large amount of freedom in this RP, I am ultimately the DM and call the shots.
While your attempts to aid the SS Fury will not go unnoticed, it is not within the realm of sanity that Benson or his entire crew would miss a ship coming up beside them, roping the railings for a boarding plank, and then merrily hopping unto the cruise line without a second thought.
I understand your characters are trying to help, but this is a cutthroat world where trust is earned, not immediately granted. All in all, Benson is going to deny your attempts to board his ship. You may aid in fighting against the Berserker's, though, since they pose the greatest threat currently.

Something quick; I hope my posts suffice and are not overly absurd. If you find anything wrong with them, please tell me. I'll change it as soon as I know. On another note, if I don't reply for a few days, forgive me. School just started and I'm trying to adapt with the amount of inflowing work.

You got a lot of characters going on in your posts, but I'm sure we can all keep up, Kyo. =)
I look forward to having awesome naval battles with you and the Berskerers. If you want I'm even willing to sit down and flesh out the civilization and let you control them. You can even be the one potential RPers report to if they want to join the Berserkers. >_>
It's up to you.

That would be great, but I have another plan altogether for the Berzerkers. I've even thought up a storyline for the Berzerkers if I were able to run the whole crew.

Alright, sorry for the double post, but I'd like to let you guys know some information about the United States of America as well as information about the current technology available in the RP were both added in the description.
Kyo has obviously already pretty much taken over creative control of the Berserkers under my supervision, but I swear if he doesn't stop using a damn "z" instead of an "s" in
Berserkers
I might just have to kill his entire family. I jest, verily. Maybe. We'll see. >_>
Kyo, when you get a chance in your obviously busy schedule, I would like you to write up some history of the organization, ranks, military power, creed, economic status, territories, primary leaders, etc. I know. I know. I'm so demanding, but I think this could be pretty interesting if I were to share some of the content with the RPers and let them create some of the back-story.
That being said, the Tribals will be up for grabs in the near future once they become actively involved in the story. I'm still going to maintain creative control over the United States of America and its military since it will be playing a pretty important role in the storyline, (tee hee), but as of right now we're going to focus on developing this little plot we have going.
I like the activity, people. Keep it up!

Alright, people. I just read Kyo's post, and I need to remind you that while your specialty starts out being pretty awesome, it is only level 1.
The idea that Lourin somehow knew the exact location of the SS Fury's engine room, knew what caliber of bullet to use to penetrate not only the steel shield protecting the outer hull of the SS Fury, but the hull itself, the titanium shielding around the exterior of the engine room, and the engines themselves is pretty far fetched. Not to mention it is night, the SS Fury is still a good distance away from the Berserker ships, and it's raining with a pretty firm wind interfering with vision, trajectory, and velocity. Not to mention the SS Fury is still constantly firing rounds of cannon blasts as well as shrapnel rounds from the mortar cannons.
I know that we all want our characters to do amazing things right from the get go, but I think we need to remember that I am still going to reward effort and originality in posts. Even if you don't perform epic feats based on your specialty, you are still going to get rewarded for the effort. So I think, Kyo, with all due respect, that Lourin's shots should not be so accurate considering the conditions and circumstances. However, the SS Fury is a big target, and Lourin is a sniper, so in all probability he's not going to miss the vessel entirely. The scenario you provided would be more on par with a Sniping level 3.
Hate to pull my DM card on such a wonderful post, but if you could just edit it a little bit, that would be great. Thank you.
I do believe it is Mid's turn to post, and then I will throw my post up if Matthias doesn't get his character done and a post made. >:O

My apologies for my unscrupulous post. I was trying to post a quick one and forgot about the level system that is in place. I will change my post accordingly as soon as possible.
EDIT: As soon as possible was an overstatement. Post modified.
