Seeing as how things on the forums have kinda been slowing to a crawl recently, I figured it might be worthwhile to put up a little topic here to inform people as to the state of things currently.

1. Some circumstances outside of my hands have left us with only one remaining administrator on the forums - yours truly. The other is likely not going to return.

2. We're kinda in a rebuilding phase now, although can one really be in a rebuilding phase if they never completely 'built' something in the first place? o_o What this means is that we need a lot of push and effort from everybody in order to get things back up to speed again. This isn't gonna be my plea to everybody to "TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS!" or something, but it is going to be me saying that this place is honestly nothing without you guys - evidenced by how much deader it has been with so many of our users gone to some other site that has a much lamer version of our name. But we're regaining life slowly but surely, so let's all be a part of something great together.

3. If you wanna immerse yourself in the community, the chat is really where it's at. This is kinda outside of my control, but it's just the way this community has kinda formed - you'll find the chat tends to be much more lively and active than the forums themselves (Pretty sure any day in chat has more people than we have total posts on the entire forum in that same day) and also tends to be the best way to meet people and work on roleplays and do all sorts of other cool things. If it's not your thing, though, don't worry - consider it just a way of giving a heads-up.

4. Please feel free to give feedback early and often and on just about anything. Really, I think a lot of the development motivation for this place stalled once people stopped having cool, new, innovative ideas. Just about nothing is outside the realm of possibility (Well, that's a lie, but consider it much more the truth here than it is any other roleplaying site) and we're all ears when it comes to whatever great ideas you brilliant minds have. Whether you've been here for days or for months, it's as much your community to shape as it is anybody else's.

While I can't answer that personally, I will make it a point to bug the creator of that roleplay to get himself back here, as there are certainly a number of interested players in KOSA that have been patiently awaiting it actually getting moving again.

The problem with that is, Andy's preparing to get sent to Afghanistan soon, and has been in Wyoming. I'll send him a message and see if I can bitchslap him into doing something.

Give him a little over two weeks since he's currently in Wyoming without internet, running water, bouts of electricity, and other stuff.  He wants me to do an interest check, which I'll make a new thread for.  The rest will be explained in that thread, which should be up soon.  I'll post a link here in this post... which will be edited for it.

By the way, i totally came through on that KOSA thing, so if there are any awards or any kinds of recognition available for it, totally nominate me. Also keep in mind, i'm about to go do some shit for our country's safety in another country, so that should totally count for some extra credit.
