Appearance: The typical garb of any wandering samurai adorns the man's frame. A custom-fit kimono with sleeves cut along the forearm remains tightly wrapped about his waist in virtually all engagements, a crest of sorts emblazoned on the upper back of the thing. Naught more than a simple pair of hakama pants on the bottom, also fit to his body's exact specifications for optimal movement and motion in the majority of situations. Missing however from the normal attire for practitioners of the katana are the traditional sandals as the samurai opts instead for the usage of his bare feet, rather tempered and hardened by the extensive exposure seen throughout battles, the very skin on the bottom of them is just about impenetrable.

Wind Manipulation - Kouketsu's primary skill and truthfully the only such one ever displayed in battle, it involves the channeling of wind currents ranging from the slightest breeze to the most epic gust, manipulated through mainly the movements of his four limbs when desired. However, it is also very much so possible to exert the same control through a myriad of other techniques such as spoken incantation, although these are much more rarely seen. For more damaging gusts however, it's necessary that some pre-existing wind be present, but in those cases where the intent isn't necessarily to damage his opponent, existing air-flow in anything just short of a vacuum itself will suffice.

Elegy - A maneuver which more or less has yet to be witnessed and very likely never will considering that the very cost of its usage is Kouketsu's life itself. However, that being said, the technique still deserves at least some degree of elaboration for the inquiring minds. Etched within the side of his blade is an inscription of a personalized incantation claimed to be descended from the divine and one that he has essentially memorized from start to finish. The recitation of said enchantment creates two otherworldly schisms - a divide in Heaven and a matching divide in Hell, manifest on the battlefield in the form of a spatial-temporal split in the skies and along the ground. In the ensuing chaos caused by these divides, all those warriors old and young who were unfortunate to fall by the edge of the user's blade receive a temporary reincarnation and revival, a summoning to the very battlefield from which they were called. And for the poor soul mentioned in the uttering of the inscription, the hellish vengeance of every single risen warrior will befall them.
